We held our first annual Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Southwestern Ontario Charity Day and Night Fly on Saturday, May 10, 2003. The Make-A-Wish® Foundation is a registered charity and endeavours to fulfil the 'wishes' of terminally ill children in the region.
This year the Club decided to rename the fly as the 'Andrew Baxter Memorial Fly' in memory of a young man who should have been a guest at our 2003 fly but he unfortunately passed away two days before the event.
The Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Southwestern Ontario was Andrew's favourite charity and all money raised from the fly will be donated to the Foundation in his memory.
